The Problem
A visitor comes to your web site in search of a software product to accomplish a certain task.
After finding the software that appears to be the best fit for the job, the visitor often
wants to visit the software author's web site directly for various reasons. Maybe they want
additional information about that software or they prefer to download a trial copy of the software
directly from the author's web site in order to be sure to get the latest version. No matter the
reason, unless you have a way
to communicate to the software author that this visitor is one of your leads, chances are that you
can kiss goodbye your well earned commission when your lead eventually decides to buy
that software product. What are the odds that your lead will come back to your web site to
complete the transaction once they have found the product author's web site.
Perhaps you already know all this and haven't learned anything new yet. But at least
now you know that we are aware of this situation and that we care about it. However, caring about
this situation alone won't help unless we also do something about it. This is why we created
this page and decided to make everything in our power to help our affiliates get the
commission that they so well deserve for their hard work.
Let's face it, we need your leads to generate more sales and you need your commissions to generate
more leads. Unless you are filty rich and can't find anything better to do with your time, we can not
expect you to generate leads for us without being rewarded for your efforts when your leads purchase
our software products.

The Solution
If you have an affiliate account with iPortis
or Plimus, you already know that you can pass your
affiliate ID through links to product order pages on their web site. When a visitor leaves your web
site after clicking one of those links, a cookie is stored with your affiliate ID on their computer.
This cookie remains active for an extended period of time (one year with Plimus, six months with iPortis).
This way, even if your lead does not buy right away, you can still get your commission when they are
ready to buy at a later time.
At this point, you may be thinking that we haven't solved any problem yet. That is true, but here is where
it gets interesting. You can now link directly to product and other pages on our own web site and we
will also store a cookie on your lead's computer with your iPortis or Plimus affiliate ID good for one full year.
When your lead clicks the Buy button for any software product on our web site, we retrieve
your affiliate ID from the cookie that we stored on their computer earlier and pass it to iPortis or Plimus
(whichever you chose) to complete the sale. This way, you don't have to worry about losing a commission
just because you sent your leads to our web site instead of directly to iPortis or Plimus.
But it gets even better. The word 'any' in the paragraph above is displayed in bold type for a reason.
Let's say that you send us a lead who has shown some interest in product A, but ends up buying product
B instead, you still get the full commission for product B even if product B is not even listed on your web
site. And if the same lead buys product A at a later time, you get the full commission for that product also.
In other words, no matter which software product(s) your leads purchase from us, you get the full commission
for each product just for sending us those leads the first time around. When you think
about it, this also means that you can even earn a commission for promoting a free edition of our
software products (Mindful Lite for example) on your web site.

Getting Started
Getting paid to promote and sell our software products on your web site and/or through
your email campaigns is easy. Perhaps, you have already
completed some of the requirements. The following is a summary of those requirements. Each
step is explained in greater details below. You can click a step to go directly to its
details.
- Create an affiliate account with iPortis or Plimus.
- Select the product(s) that you wish to sell as an affiliate.
- Promote one or more of our software products on your web site and/or in your email campaigns.
- Provide your Plimus or iPortis affiliate ID when linking back to us.
IMPORTANT:
The only condition that we ask our affiliates to respect is to avoid spamming. We do not spam, never did,
and never will. However, although we never had anything to do with it, spam has caused us so much
trouble in the past - and even today - that we have decided to immediately and permanently terminate
our relationship with any affiliate that is caught spamming to sell any of our software products.

Create an affiliate account with iPortis or Plimus
To promote our software products and get paid for your leads, you need an affiliate account with either iPortis or Plimus.

Select the products that you wish to sell as an affiliate
Once you have an affiliate account with iPortis or Plimus, you need to select the products that you
wish to promote so we can authorize the ecommerce (iPortis or Plimus) to pay you a commission
when your leads buy those products.
To select our software products with iPortis:
- Login to your iPortis affiliate account;
- Click Product Management;
- Click Find a Product;
- Click Home - Personal Finance;
- On the Account Xpress line in the list, click on Here in the Submit Request column;
- Click Request Product;
- Click Back Home;
- Click Product Management;
- Click Find a Product;
- Click Business - Accounting / Finance;
- On the Loan And Mortgage line in the list, click on Here in the Submit Request column;
- Click Request Product;
- Click Back Home;
- Click Product Management;
- Click Find a Product;
- Click Business - Calendars;
- On the Mindful line in the list, click on Here in the Submit Request column;
- Click Request Product;
- Click Back Home.
To select our software products with Plimus:
- Login to your Plimus account;
- On the main page of your Plimus account, click the link to Products catalog;
- In the Keywords box, type felitec and click Search to find our list of software products;
- Click the Sell this product button next to one of our products in the list;
- In the box that contains the product name, select All vendor's products so you can get
a commission for any of our products purchased by your leads;
- Click Submit.

Promote our Software Products
We currently have five software products that you can promote on your web site and/or in your email
campaigns. Each product is shown in the following table with a link to its product page and
PAD file.

Provide your Plimus or iPortis affiliate ID when linking back to us.
The last, but most important step to ensure that you will get your commission when your visitors
purchase our software products is to provide your iPortis or Plimus Affiliate ID when you link back to us.
There are many pages on our web site to which you can link back while providing your iPortis or Plimus Affiliate ID.
You can also provide your iPortis or Plimus Affiliate ID through our direct product download links. There is one
direct download link for each or our software products.
The following table lists the links that you can use with your iPortis or Plimus Affiliate ID to link back to us.
The Sample URL column shows you how to use the link. Simply replace
ecomm with the name of the e-commerce with whom you have an affiliate account (iPortis or Plimus) and
9999 with your Affiliate ID when linking back to us. For example, if your affiliate account is with Plimus,
your Affiliate ID is 1234 and you want to link back to our home page, then your link code should look like this:

NOTE: This step does not replace the need to provide your iPortis or Plimus Affiliate ID when you link back
to their web site, it should be done as a supplement to it. This way, whether your visitors
leave your web site to go directly to iPortis or Plimus, or to come to our own web site, you should get your
commission either way when they eventually place an order.

Common Questions
What kind of commission plan do you offer to affiliates for selling your software products?
Currently the basic affiliate commission is 30% of whatever the customer pays for the software products they purchase.
However, we are paying a higher commission (up to 50%) to affiliates who generate a certain volume of sales
as follows:
- 35% for affiliates who generate between 25 and 50 sales per month;
- 40% for affiliates who generate between 51 and 100 sales per month;
- 45% for affiliates who generate between 101 and 200 sales per month;
- 50% for affiliates who generate more than 200 sales per month.
NOTE: Because the percentage commission must be set before a sale occurs, the sales generated by an
affiliate in the last month determine the percentage of commission that this affiliate will receive
in the next month. For example, if an affiliate generates 42 sales in January, this affiliate will
receive a commission of 35% for his February sales regardless of the number of sales generated in that
month. If the same affiliate then generates 75 sales in February, the commission for the sales generated
in March will be 40%, and so on. The first month sales generated by an affiliate will always be 30%
regardless of the volume of sales generated in that month.
Why not participate in the Affiliate Certification Program offered by RegNow?
We did participate in this program for a while with both site and product level certifications.
What we came to realize while participating in this program is that even though our sales volume increased,
affiliate related sales did not. To us, this is a clear indication that affiliates who made some extra efforts to
promote our software products did not get compensated for their extra efforts. We do not claim that
RegNow does not pay their affiliates as they should, but simply that there are still some holes in
RegNow's Affiliate Certification Program (see The Problem and
The Solution above).
Also, the RegNow Affiliate Certification Program promotes an ecommerce monopoly situation. One of the
site level certification requirements is that a vendor must use RegNow exclusively for all sales initiated
on the vendor's web site. We all know by experience that a monopoly situation is only good for the party who
owns the monopoly.
Also, the RegNow Affiliate Certification Program forces us as a vendor to participate in the selling of
products (software on CD) and services (extended download) that customers do not need since they can
download software installation files for our software products directly from our web site for free at any time.
Why not then include RegNow as a regular ecommerce service as you do with iPortis and Plimus?
Vendors using RegNow ecommerce services without participating in their Affiliate Certification Program
face commission fees that are more than double the ones charged by their competitors for the same services.
If we would accept RegNow affiliate ID's in links to our web site, we would have pay a lesser commission
to these affiliates to compensate for the extra charges incurred by RegNow to the vendors who do not
participate in their Affiliate Certification Program.
